“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” Kahlil Gibran.
Every Monday for the rest of this year I will share with you two photo’s of my children that celebrate their childhood.
Jake
We’ve had another quiet week at home this week, partly to do with the fact that we have had a lot of rain. The kids have settled into a nice routine of playing together with only the odd argument. I think they will really miss each other when school starts again.
Jake has recently started to show an interest in watching shows on my iPad, he’s not really been fussed up until this point. He loves choosing what to watch on Netflix, it’s all about Blaze and Spirit at the moment.
Daisy
Daisy is busy trying to find Wally and his friends in this photo. We have a few Where’s Wally books, we love the challenge of spotting all the characters and objects on the busy pages.
Daisy has been quite contented with being home this summer. She hasn’t really talked about missing school which is most unusual for her. I think sorting her uniform out and packing her school bags has got her a little bit excited though. She will be seeing some of her friends from school at a birthday party next week which will be lovely for her.
