“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” Kahlil Gibran.
Every Monday for the rest of this year I will share with you two photo’s of my children that celebrate their childhood.
Daisy
Daisy really wanted to get out this weekend and ride her bike but the elements were against her. Instead she spent some time watching her favourite CBBC shows on her kindle.
We haven’t been able to get outside very much at all this month so far. I know the kids are feeling it but they are being really good and finding other things to do instead.
Jake
Jake built a very elaborate city with his duplo one afternoon last week. He asked me to take photo’s of it but couldn’t resist cheekily getting in the shot himself. I will miss our afternoons together once he goes to school full-time in September.

Yes make the most of these months, I miss them so much at times. #livingarrows
Daisy looks totally engrossed in her kindle and I love James cheeky little grin. Time is flying by, so nice you are able to make the most of this precious time. Just a shame that the weather hasn’t been a little better to allow outdoor adventures.
I bet you’re really making the most of those afternoons. It sounds like your children are so understanding about having to stay inside sometimes x
Daisy looks so into her Kindle. I know what you mean about your afternoons with Jake, we’re on countdown to September too. It’s gone too fast! #livingarrows
They are both lovely pictures. The weather has been against us a bit this half term too. It looks like a great Duplo construction – Toby is getting more proper lego now but he still loves building with his Duplo #LivingArrows
