Each Sunday I share a week in review that includes little snippets of our family life, anything fun we have done and any milestones that we reach.

We have had the nightmare week from hell here at the Webster’s which has meant I have missed my regular postings.

Sleeping

We had a really busy weekend with my stepsons staying and Daisy got out of her routine a little. We weren’t really surprised on Sunday night when she had trouble sleeping but by Monday morning it was obvious she was coming down with something. The next few days she ran a temperature, couldn’t settle to sleep and just wasn’t herself.

Poorly

Looking after a poorly toddler is hard at the best of times. When you are six months pregnant and poorly yourself it’s doubly exhausting. Poor Chris who had a long working week in Wales had to take over some of the nights so I could get a little sleep.

Daisy is not one of those children that sleep illness off, she just wouldn’t settle for more than twenty minutes at a time.

It’s horrible seeing your child in pain and not being able to do anything. We realised it wasn’t just a cold and thankfully got her a doctors appointment quickly where she was diagnosed with an ear infection. She was prescribed antibiotics for the first time and is feeling much better already.

Hopefully, we are over the worst and can get back to normal now.
