Bucket lists are a great way to plan fun things for you and your family to do. As well as our usual monthly goals I love to plan a few extra fun things for Summer. Last year we had lots of fun completing our 2016 summer bucket list. So much so that I made another one for the Autumn.
The summer holidays are long are can feel daunting with children to entertain. I wrote about how we are planning our summer holidays on a budget recently. With this in mind, I’ve added things to the bucket list that will fit in nicely with our plans.
I usually devise our bucket lists by myself but this year Daisy has added a few things. I love that now the kids are getting older they can get involved too. It’s so much fun to sit down as a family and make plans.
Here’s our summer bucket list for 2017.
- Eat fish & chips by the sea.
- Make homemade ice-lollies.
- Camp out in the garden.
- Take a picnic to the park.
- Watch the sunset.
- Feed the ducks.
- Blow bubbles.
- Have a water fight.
- Climb a really big hill.
- Pick strawberries.
- Fly a kite.
- Visit the library.
- Go on a train.
- Visit a museum.
- Collect seashells.
I’m really excited to start ticking things off our bucket list. I will be back at the end of summer with a round-up post of everything we managed to tick off.
Oh wow I love this bucket list! I think I will ask my daughter to make one as well together 🙂 hopefully the weather will perk up!
Thanks Fran hope you have fun creating one too x
Eating fish and chips by the sea is a must isn’t it.
An absolute must ! don’t know why but they taste so much better by the sea.
