Our Summer Bucket List 2017

Bucket lists are a great way to plan fun things for you and your family to do. As well as our usual monthly goals I love to plan a few extra fun things for Summer. Last year we had lots of fun completing our 2016 summer bucket list. So much so I made another one for the Autumn.

The summer holidays are long are can feel daunting with children to entertain. I wrote about how we are planning our summer holidays on a budget recently. With this in mind I’ve added things to the bucket list that will fit in nicely with our plans.

I usually devise our bucket lists by myself but this year Daisy has added a few things. I love that now the kids are getting older they can get involved too. It’s so much fun to sit down as a family and make plans.

Here’s our summer bucket list for 2017.

  • Eat fish & chips by the sea.
  • Make homemade ice-lollies.
  • Camp out in the garden.
  • Take a picnic to the park.
  • Watch the sunset.
  • Feed the ducks.
  • Blow bubbles.
  • Have a water fight.
  • Climb a really big hill.
  • Pick strawberries.
  • Fly a kite.
  • Visit the library.
  • Go on a train.
  • Visit a museum.
  • Collect seashells.

I’m really excited to start ticking things off our bucket list. I will be back at the end of summer with a round-up post of everything we managed to tick off.
