Charity Shop Book Haul

It’s been an absolute age since I shared a charity shop haul on my blog. I know they are not everyone’s cup of tea but I love seeing what bargains other people have bagged. In November last year I re-found my love for reading and turned into a fully fledged book-worm.

Reading can be a really good frugal hobby but there’s also the danger of it becoming a very expensive past time too. I’ve decided that once a month I will treat myself to two brand new books, I do want to support the authors of course. To satisfy my hunger for new books I will visit my favourite charity shops once a month for a haul of pre-loved books.

This month I only had time to visit two charity shops, one of them was book paradise with a whole back wall covered in books in all shapes, sizes and genres. I picked up some books for myself and a few for the kids bookshelves too.

I paid 50p for the adult books and 30p each for the kids books. they were all in fantastic condition, I even managed ti peel the stickers off without any trouble. I do like my books nice and neat.

The fashion fairy princess book I got for Daisy still had the free fairy stickers inside.

I can’t wait until next month when I will hopefully have more time to browse. Have you bagged any charity shop bargains lately, leave me a comment I would love to know.
