I do love a loyalty card, in fact, my purse is bulging with them not to mention the loyalty apps I have on my phone too. You should know by now that I’m a huge fan of never paying full price for anything. I was actually late to the party with the M&S Sparks loyalty card, only signing up for one last summer.

Simply pick up a Sparks card in-store, register it online and start collecting Sparks. With every transaction you make in-store or online you will earn.

Every time you shop = 10 sparks.

Every £1 you spend = 10 sparks.

Every review you write = 25 sparks.

Every time you schwop = 50 sparks.

The more sparks you collect, the more offers you unlock. You will receive tailor-made offers, invitations to events and the chance to win some fantastic prizes as well as priority access to the M&S Sale and new season previews. Every time you use your Sparks card, M&S will donate to a good cause on your behalf at no extra cost to you too.

Once you have collected 3,000 points you can enjoy fast-track access to the latest products and trends. At 5,000 points you can jump the queue in the Sale. Reach the next level of 14,000 sparks and you will get invites to special in-store events. Collect 17,000 sparks and you get the chance to win experiences at M&S HQ.

You will also enjoy a special bonus on your birthday.

I receive a weekly email with offers that I can add to my card. Recently I’ve had a free extra side with a £10 Chinese meal deal, clothing discounts and a free beauty product. Once you load the offer to your card all you have to do is swipe your card at the checkout and the discount is applied automatically.

You can find out more about the Sparks card on the Marks & Spencer website.
