Project 365-Week 12

Project 365-Week 12

It’s week 12 of Project 365 already, this month has gone so quickly. Only one more week of March left. This week has been a fairly quiet one which has been nice. I have a few appointments in the diary next week so it will be a much busier one.

On Monday I did a few hours of work after doing my usual morning cleaning and tidying. I’m doing a couple of market research projects at the moment so I made sure I was up to date on those. Indie spent her morning keeping watch in her favourite spot on top of the couch. She must have some seriously good balancing skills to not fall off.

I started a new jigsaw on Tuesday, this one is only a 500 piece so I will be finished by tomorrow. The picture is of retro food products that M&S used to sell when they were known at St. Michaels.

The sun was shining for my walk on Wednesday morning. It looks like the trees are coming to life again and that makes me very happy indeed. I did spot some magnolias blooming in someone’s garden but I don’t think they would appreciate me snapping a picture. My next mission is to find some magnolias in the wild and take a million photo’s of them.

Daisy brought some of her art projects home from school on Thursday. I love the different textures and patterns on this one.

These bullrushes along the brook have burst their seedheads and their fluffy seeds have been fun to watch blowing away with the wind. I think the older I get the more of a nature nerd I become. Most days after walking Indie I come home and look up something I’ve spotted to find out more about it.

Saturday morning started off with some warm pain au chocolat and entering some competitions. I had a very lazy day today, watching TV, comping and catching up with reading my favourite blogs. The kids had a lazy day too although they did go for a quick bike ride in the afternoon.

We got some unexpected thunder and lightning in the early evening and a downpour of rain. It didn’t last too long it passed over really quickly.

I ordered some birthday presents this week and spotted this jigsaw was on sale so I treated myself. The kids will really enjoy doing this one with me. The presents are unpacked and hidden away now.

I’ve spent this morning pottering around and getting set up for the week ahead. We have fresh bedding on the beds and the uniforms are ironed. I do enjoy a productive sunday. The kids have some homework to do and then we are all set for a brand new week.

  1. I love Daisy’s artwork, she’s very creative!
The retro jigsaw puzzle looks fun, I have a few that I haven’t started yet. I must find the time.
I love that the weather is picking up a bit, it’s nice to get out with the camera and get some nature shots.
Hope you have a lovely week. xx

  2. Indie looks very thoughtful in that portrait. The art project is lovely, with the quilling bits.
The St Michael’s puzzle looks great fun, and I’m super envious of the Lego puzzle. Just fab!
Nature can be so therapeutic. There is always something new to see on the walks.

  3. I’ve not done a jigsaw puzzle for ages, I’ve got a couple still in their wrappers. must have a go at another one soon. Our local school has the most amazing magnolia tree, I had to wait till school was out before I risked taking a photo of it.

  4. Indie looks quite comfortable sitting on top of the couch looking out the window. It is lovely to see the trees coming to life again. We pass a couple of magnolia trees on the way to school and it’s lovely to see them in bloom. Love Daisy’s art project. #project365
