Word Of The Week-Projects

This week’s word of the week is projects. After a few weeks of feeling fed up with my never-ending to-do list, I realised I needed a new perspective. This week, I decided that they were all little projects I would complete instead.

I loved completing projects when I was in school, so I figured turning each to-do into a project would make them more fun and less of a chore. Lately, I’ve lacked motivation to get things done, and this approach has helped me a lot.

I’ve completed a few projects this week including sorting and organising the very messy craft boxes. Daisy and I have been really enjoying scrapbooking lately and have built up quite a selection of ephemera. Instead of having two messy craft boxes we now have one larger one which is much more organised.

The next project was buying some better storage for the top of the kitchen cupboards. I wanted something with lids as it gets very dusty up there. Home Bargains provided some very budget-friendly solutions, which meant I could tick another thing off the list.

I’m looking forward to getting stuck into some more projects over the weekend, there are plenty more to choose from the list.

The rest of the week has been fairly quiet and relaxed which has been nice. On Sunday we went to the local park to walk Indie and find some snowdrops. It was lovely to see little signs of spring.

Daisy and Jake have been going out on their bikes a lot while the weather has been dry. After being stuck indoors for ages it’s been nice to see them playing out again.

I’ve been out on my bike again, this time to the dentist. The check-up took less than five minutes. I suppose I should be grateful that I don’t need any work done, but it was a very expensive five minutes. The ride back made up for it, though. The sun was starting to set, and it looked beautiful.

I’m linking up with Anne at Raisie Bay for Word of the Week.

  1. I love it when you get projects done. I have a few but I need to make a list so I can follow my progress. Well done on getting some things sorted and on getting to see some snowdrops.
