The summer holidays might be in full swing but it’s never too early to get organised for back to school. Smiggle recently sent us some of their brand-new back-to-school products to review. The kids love stationery almost as much as I do so they were really excited when a parcel arrived for them.

Daisy and Jake were excited to open the parcel of goodies and find a backpack each inside. We always opt for backpacks over ordinary school bags, you can fit so much more inside. Daisy was sent the Dreamy backpack and Jake got a fun backpack with a crocodile design.

Both backpacks are such good quality. There are four zipped compartments, drink bottle sleeves and space for a 15-inch laptop inside. They both come with a handy internal name label and adjustable shoulder straps too. There are lots of other designs available, so many to choose from.

I really like the adjustable chest strap on Jake’s new backpack, it makes it a lot easier for him to carry.

Of course, no backpack would be complete without some stationery goodies to put inside. Smiggle kindly sent the kids a selection.

Daisy got this gorgeous reversible sequins lockable notebook. She’s been busy writing her plans for the new school year inside. The dolphin design and cute little lock and keys are adorable. I think the fun emoji icons on each page are a fun way to record how you’re feeling too.

They also sent some of their fab new range of highlighters for us to try too. We were sent the Gel Stick, Super Juicy and Ice-Cream highlighters. I think they are a great way to brighten up your schoolwork or journals. They are all scented and smell delicious too.

The kids have had a great time testing out all their Smiggle goodies. They were reluctant to pack them away ready for school in September.
