My Fairy Garden – Woodland Fairy Door Review

Last week Daisy and I were sent this adorable My Fairy Garden Woodland Fairy Door from Interplay UK to play with and review, Daisy has a fairy flower garden box where she plants flowers and seeds every year and I thought a woodland fairy door would be a lovely addition.

The set contains a woodland fairy door, a fairy named Heather and her little squirrel friend, it also comes with wall mounting brackets, sticky fixers and some ground spikes for if you want to secure the door either outdoors or indoors.

You can set the woodland fairy door up against a tree, a wall, a fence or even the corner of your little ones bedroom.

This week we were lucky to have a few days of beautiful sunshine so one afternoon Daisy and I took the woodland fairy door into the garden to play, I placed the door right in the middle of her fairy garden box and let her imagination do the rest.

The Fairy Garden range of toys have been created to encourage interaction with nature through play, Daisy and I talked about what type of Fairy Heather is (she’s the Autumn fairy) and we also tried to name as many woodland creatures as we could think of. Daisy suggested that we could put the woodland fairy door in her bedroom in Winter so the fairy would have somewhere warm to live which I think is a very good idea.

I really like that the My Fairy Garden range promotes a healthy lifestyle by encouraging children to play outside and explore their surroundings whether it be by growing something or learning about the environment and seasons.

I’ve also had a little fun of my own by moving Heather the fairy and her squirrel buddy to different locations in our garden, here they are hiding in one of our plants.

Daisy really has had lots of fun playing with her woodland fairy door this week and I’m sure it will be a favourite for years to come, we will definitely be adding to our collection with other products from the range, have a look at the video below to see the whole range.

The My Fairy Garden Woodland Fairy Door costs £9.99 and is suitable for ages 4+ and is available at a wide variety of retailers.
