As the summer holidays get ever closer I’ve been thinking about all the things we would love to do together as a family. Creating a bucket list is so much fun and a great go-to when I’m stuck for ideas. We had great fun completing our spring bucket list this year and we can’t wait to get going on our summer list.
As always I try to plan as many budget friendly things as I can. The summer holidays can get expensive, last year I wrote about how I planned to survive the summer holiday on a budget. I will definitely be incorporating lots of the same ideas into this years bucket list.
Here is our summer bucket list for 2018.
- Go on a boat ride.
- Eat ice-cream.
- Go to the beach.
- Eat fish & chips by the sea.
- Complete the libraries summer reading challenge.
- Have a water fight in the garden.
- Pick strawberries from the farm.
- Visit an art gallery.
- Do the free craft, games and activities at the local community centre.
- Have a picnic.
- Go to the splash park.
- Have a long lazy lie-in.
- Bake a cake.
- Make smoothies.
- Go on a bouncy castle.
- Paddle in the sea.
What do you have planned for the summer ? leave me a comment I love hearing from you.
Lots of lovely fun ideas there for the Summer. I have gotten so far as to collate all the dates where we can take advantage of free time, but have yet to plan our adventures.
Ah I really miss doing my Summer to do lists, but with the kids spending more and more time with their friends over the holidays there is no point now. Though I think I might do a sneaky one for when they are around lol. Sounds a lovely mixture of activities to do x
Great ideas! I had planned to have chips by the sea on Wednesday, but we got there and both chip shops were shut! Another day, maybe.
What a shame, hopefully next time it will open x
