I don’t know about you but I have never stuck to any New Year’s resolutions in my life. Here at the Websters, we prefer to set ourselves small measurable goals. As well as making monthly goals we also like to think a little further ahead about the year as a whole.
I’ve broken our goals down into three sections and kept them quite simple. We will no doubt add to them as the year goes on. For now, these are the most important ones to us.
Family
- Teach Daisy how to ride her bike without stabilisers.
- Get outdoors and explore more.
- Try new things.
- Go on our first family holiday.
- Make Sundays family days.
Financial
- Pay off half of our total debt by 31.12.17 (£3000).
- Increase my income to at least equal to a part-time wage.
Personal
- Lose weight, Chris and I both have our targets to reach by the end of the year. We both suffer from health problems due to our weight and this is the year we need to get serious about it. We aim to lose 1 1/2 stone every 90 days.
- Improve health and fitness, this ties into our weight loss goal. We plan to be much more active this year.
- Buy less stuff.
- Get more sleep.
I don’t tend to make new years resolution but I would love to be debt free by this time next year. We don’t owe a huge amount, just a couple of credit cards, but I’m determined to break even! #TuesdayTreasures
Best of luck, small steps and of course you will succeed 🙂 oh and happy NY #tuesdaytreasures
I almost read 1.5 stone every day lol… I was like.. WTF!? Good luck!
I love the idea of setting yourself small measurable goals, and also monthly goals. Good luck achieving the goals you’ve set for yourself and your family! #TuesdayTresures
Some great goals! Good luck with them all – I’d like to have more family time too, and buy less this year! #tuesdaytreasures
What great goals. I could do with adopting a few of them myself. I hope you do well with all of your goals, I look forward to reading about them. #TuesdayTreasures
Good Goals Angela and no reason why you can’t accomplish them! Goodluck x
