This week’s word of the week had to be sunny. The sun has dominated the weather all week, and it’s been glorious.
My morning walks with Indie have been extra lovely this week. It has been sunny but not too warm at that time of the morning, which is just the way I like it. Going out without a jacket or cardigan on has been lovely. What a gorgeous end to April it has been.
The sunny weather has brought out lots of bees, butterflies and bugs, which is fantastic. There’s been a lot of activity at the bird table, with a family of collared doves returning every day, including the odd chaffinch, magpie, starlings, and some sparrows. There are also two wood pigeons who visit daily, I love watching their antics. They both like sitting in my plant pots.
When I’ve not been marvelling over nature, I’ve been quite busy, tying up the usual end-of-the-month work stuff. May is going to be a busy month, so I’ve been planning and preparing for that.
I’m linking up with Anne from Raisie Bay as usual for Word of the Week.
It has been lovely to have sunny weather hasn’t it? Indie looks like she was enjoying her walk in the sunshine. Lovely to watch all the birds at the bird table. Good luck with your busy work stuff this month. #WotW
I’ve been loving the sunny weather also, so nice to go out without having to dress for 4 seasons in one day. I find I have so much more freedom with what I wear when I’m not trying to pair my clothes with a coat and boots. #wotw
Sunny days are the best. And walks with your dog are food for the soul!
The weather has been so lovely!
I have liked the mornings too before it’s got too hot.
I’ve been out in the garden lots and there has been a lot of butterflies and bees which are lovely to see. x
It’s not so sunny today, but that’s the UK for you, and it is a Bank Holiday, but yes, the sunshine last week was really welcome.
