We were in for an extra treat over Halloween when a Taffy Mail subscription box arrived for us to review. Taffy Mail is the UK’s only American sweets subscription box, there are three delicious plans to choose from all containing American candy, sweets and treats. We were sent the Extra box which contained some special Halloween-themed treats.
The Extra box is Taffy Mail’s most popular box containing up to 20 American goodies, which includes at least one can of American soda and at least one premium item. Subscription plans start from £7.49 per month, delivery is free and you can cancel at any time.
Our box arrived jam-packed with goodies, including lots of American Halloween-themed treats that we couldn’t wait to try. There will be a similar festive box available from Taffy Mail in December, I can only imagine what Christmas candy might be hiding in that box!
We loved diving into our box to find all the surprises, it was like a super sweet lucky dip. I was really impressed with the number of goodies included in the box, some things I had tried before but lots that I hadn’t.
Our Halloween goodies included Brach Candy Corn, Pumpkin Peeps, M&M’s White Candy Corn, Sour Patch Kids Tricksters and a Box of Boogers. I’ve always wanted to try candy corn and they didn’t disappoint, they are so tasty, like a cross between vanilla fudge and butter.
The Halloween Peeps went down well with the kids, these little fluffy pumpkins are so adorable and they taste good too.
If I had to choose between sweet or savoury snacks I would definitely go with savoury. As much as I love chocolate and sweets, crisps and savoury snacks always win hands down. I was really excited to find a selection of savoury American snacks in my Taffy Mail box too.
These Herr’s Deep Dish Pizza flavour corn snacks were so good. They actually tasted like pizza, I have to admit I was reluctant to share them with the rest of the family. The box also includes some TGI Friday’s Potato Skins Snacks and Andy Capp’s Hot Fries.
The kids enjoyed tasting the candy included in the box, they loved the Laffy Taffy and the Mini Burger. I love M&M’s and I wish they were available in lots more varieties here in the UK, the White Chocolate Candy Corn and Pretzel flavours are so moreish.
These cute little snacks were perfect with a cup of coffee, I loved the themed Twix Ghost and Snickers Jack O’ Lantern.

- Fun Halloween-themed snacks
- The surprise element of the box
- Trying new American flavours we hadn’t tried before
It all looks so good! I like that there is savoury as well as sweet, and that’s they are snacks you wouldn’t normally get.
