We are big fans of the humble sandwich here at the Webster’s, we would happily eat them for breakfast, lunch and tea. We are also big fans of Num Noms so when they asked us to celebrate National Sandwich Week with them we were delighted. They challenged us to create some Num Nom-inspired creations.

Nums Noms are fun collectable characters, they smell delicious and can be stacked together to create over 1,000 delicious scented combinations. The range also includes lip gloss, stamps, light up, and nail polish Noms.

Daisy and Jake were thrilled when a parcel full of goodies arrived for them last week. As well as lots of Num Noms there were also things to help them create some fun sandwiches.

Here’s what arrived:

Num Noms Toys

Num Noms Series 4 Lunch Box sweets Sampler containing 10 scented Nums, 1 mystery nom and 2 flavoured glitter lip gloss.

Num Noms rectangle lunch bag.

Num Noms Light Surprise in a jar.

Num Noms Official Magazine.

Fun-shaped sandwich cutters.

Edible decorative eyes.

I let the kids choose what fillings they wanted and after a quick shopping trip they were ready to create. Here’s what they chose and the Num inspiration behind their choices.

Cheese-Mozz Rella Pizza Num

Grapes-Grape Goody Num

Ham-Melty Burger Num

Cucumber-Veggie Terry

Carrot-Bunny Carrot

Daisy had great fun filling her sandwich with her favourite ingredients, and then using the cutters to make a shape. She loved decorating the top of the sandwich with funny eyes and other tasty toppings.

Jake needed a little help with the cutting out but he had great fun filling and decorating his sandwich. Both the kids were excited to tuck into their creations for lunch.

I think we will be making sandwiches creating a regular thing, the kids loved the independence of making their own lunches.
