We love getting creative at home, whether is painting, crafting, gluing or drawing we love it all. I don’t really mind the mess caused by the kid’s creative endeavours but sometimes I wish it was a little less messy. We were recently sent a Little Brian Paint Sticks Art Station, the perfect solution to mess-free painting and play.

Little Brian Paint Sticks are a fun, clean, simple and convenient way to paint, they can be used on all sorts of surfaces too like paper, card, wood and even glass. The Paint Sticks Classic Art Station is a new addition to the range, it’s double-sided featuring a whiteboard and a chalkboard perfect for shared play. The set comes with 6 classic paint sticks, 6 chalk sticks, paper, and a handy duster.

Little Brian Paint Sticks Classic Art Station Review

Daisy and Jake couldn’t wait to get painting and chalking and each chose a side before we began. Setting up the art station is super simple, it has handy storage cups to store the paint and chalk sticks in too. The art station folds flat and everything fits neatly in the compartments. It also has a carry handle so you can take the art station on playdates or when travelling on holiday perhaps.

Daisy used the whiteboard first drawing directly onto it, she said she liked the texture of the paint sticks and that they were really easy to draw with. She also drew on a piece of paper using the handy orange clip at the top of the board.

Jake loved the chalkboard, the chalk sticks were the perfect size for him and he really enjoyed drawing space rockets and then wiping them off with the duster.

Both the paint sticks and the chalk sticks twist up and down like glue sticks making them easy for little hands to use, the colours are also really vibrant.

I really like that the kids can both use the art station at the same time, they could happily chat together about what they were drawing. Clean-up afterwards was quick and easy, everything fits inside the art station compactly which is great for storage.

The art station is also really easy for the kids to construct themselves which is really good for independent play too.
